Stone Sculpture
This is the stone sculpture in front of the gate of main Muara Jambi Temple. The sculpture was made from the hard rock materials, and not from the bricks itself.
Use all of the Styles
While taking pictures in Muara Jambi Temple, we may use all of our styles to make these pictures. It can be seen from the above pictures how the visitors used all of their styles.
Closer Look of Main Temple
This is the closer look of main temple of Muara Jambi. It seems that there are a lot of people taking pictures in the temple site. They used all of their styles to make picture in Muara Jambi Temple.
The Bricks of the Temple
This is the bricks of Muara Jambi Temple. It seems that the bricks of the temple are scattered in the temple site. It might be due to when the temple was found in the colonialism era, it had been spread out everywhere and need to reconstruct again if we want to see it as a complete temple.
Integrated History Tourism Area
This is the statement that Muara Jambi Temple has been declared as Integrated History Tourism Area and was signed by Indonesian President.
Information Center of Muara Jambi Temple
This is the building of information center of Muara Jambi Temple. Anyone needs information may ask about it in this place if they are open. Unfortunately when I was there, this office was closed.
Building for Some Remains
This building is close to the main temple of Muara Jambi Temple and used for shelters of some artefacts and sculpture and close to it there are some stupa from bricks. If we compare with temple in Java, temples in Muara Jambi mostly were made from bricks and not the hard stone.
Another Looks of Muara Jambi Temple
This is the view of Muara Jambi Temple if we see it closer. There are some trees around the temple and this is helpful to give the visitors of this site the cold feeling of the hot day in there.
The Main Temple of Muara Jambi Temple
This is the main temple of Muara Jambi Temple that we will find when we visit this site. This temple is located in the field with neat grass and seems like an unfinished building. This temple is small enough if we compare with the temple in another island such as in Java. This temple is constructed with red bricks and it has a different size compared to the contemporary bricks. The bricks of the temple are bigger if we compare with current bricks.
Muara Jambi Temple
The site of Muara Jambi Temple is located in the Village of Muara Jambi, Sub-District of Maro Sebo, District of Muara Jambi, Jambi Province. The width of the site is about 2612 hectare and span about 12 kilometres off the edge of Batanghari River. There are about 82 temples that are scattered in this temple site. This is the biggest temple site in Indonesia and the uniqueness of this site is the sacred area which are rounded by crossed ancient canal that relate between one temple with the other temple. This site is the heritage of ancient Malayan Kingdom with Mahayana Budhism background in the period of 8th century and continued until 14th century. The existence of Muara Jambi Temple at first was known from the report by British Officer named S.C Croke in the year of 1820 which was on duty to visit the remote areas along Batanghari River. He recorded that between the community settlement, there was opinion that Muara Jambi once upon a time become the capital city of an ancient kingdom. Crooke had the chance to see the bricks remain and the stone sculpture between the crowd of the jungle near the village.

The Beach at Sang Hyang Indah Resort in Anyer
This is the beach at Sang Hyang Indah Resort in Anyer with its beautiful scenery in there. With the green environment in the resort, visitors or guests of this place may enjoy their holiday with full of enjoyment. Coconut trees are many in there and give certain view to the visitors of the place. With greenfield inside the resort, there is also certain enjoyment that visitors can feel while they were staying in this resort.
Sang Hyang Indah Resort Hotel in Anyer
This is the gate of Sang Hyang Indah Resort Hotel in Anyer. The entry gate will be opened by the guard when we ask him to open it as we will come to the inside of the resort. The way to enter the resort is also smooth with asphalt and perform a neat and clean environment of this resort. After we come to the inside of the resort then we will see ATM machine on the right side if we count it from the direction we came. On the right side there are also playing ground for children and the swimming pool of Sang Hyang Indah Resort Hotel. There is also spa facility in the part near the swimming pool.
ATV in the Distance
ATV or All Terrain Vehicle is an interesting one to try when we stay in Anyer Cottage. Normally the operator will offer you fifty thousand rupiahs for fifteen minutes drive with this vehicle. But if the visitors are not crowded enough, you can ask the price for half an hour. We can enjoy to drive ATV along the coast area in Anyer Cottage, but the operator will ask us for not to close to bring this vehicle to the water. It might be dangerous for the machine of this vehicle or not safe for it if the high wave come and pull it to the sea water.
Enjoying ATV at Anyer Cottage
Enjoying ATV while we stay in Anyer Cottage is the interesting experience to us. While this ATV is used by the guests, we can ride it along the coast or in the area in the inner side of the cottage. This is enjoyable as there are not many visitors when we visit the cottage. However, if there is a group visit, it might not be so pleasant to us to ride ATV in the area which is located inside the cottage. If this situation exist, we should drive the ATV just along the coast and might be go to the neighboring area of Anyer Cottage.
Riding ATV in Anyer
Riding ATV in Anyer is really enjoyable and entertaining as well as it is also interesting. With the low price to rent it, if we can make a bargain to the operator, our holiday with ATV riding along Anyer Coast will become true. The price with bargain price that is fifty thousand rupiahs for half an hour I think is a normal price as I have experienced at Patuha Resort in Ciwidey, South of Bandung area before it. The bargain price is possible if there are not so many visitors to the cottage I think. We can try a lot of turn around on the sand with different velocity, but be careful for not to fell down.
Building of the Cottage in Anyer
Building of the Cottage in Anyer Cottage take many forms, from small until large building. For the building of the guests to stay, there two levels building. In the lower level, there is dining room and kitchen as well as toilet and bathroom. At the upper level, there is two bedrooms for guests and his family to sleep. There is also a balcon in the upper level at the front side. For the building of the restaurant, there is only one level building, but so spacious for people can gather in there.
Subtle Sand is the Beauty of Anyer Beach
This is the subtle sand of the Anyer Beach in Anyer Cottage. Compared to other places in Anyer I think the beach in Anyer Cottage is nice enough for swimming as there are no coral or reef were found when I was swimming in there. So it will be enjoyable for us to bath and swimming in Anyer Cottage. However, it is only nice for swimming and not for sun bathing as there are no ideal space to do that along the coast area of Anyer Cottage.
The Wave of the Beach in Anyer
This is the subtle sand of Anyer Beach near Anyer Cottage. You can see that while the wave was hard enough to hit the sand, but the sand was still in there. If we visit the Anyer Coast, there will be nice scenery we can see through all of the way we walk and see. Not need to worry about the weather because it is usually sunny day along the day if it is not the rainy season. So, grab your chance for doing holiday in this place while there still be a cheap accomodation price in working days. The price of accomodation will go up at the end of the week usually, but in other accomodation in Anyer it might be different as other will gives discount price for accomodation.
The Beauty of Anyer Beach
The beauty of Anyer Beach is needed to be enjoyed by those who never or very rare to come to this place. Although there are many alternatives for destination of your holiday, but Anyer is still very interesting to visit as there are many objects that we can find in there. There is also neighbouring area that close to Anyer that we can visit too. This is a beach as well as Anyer and called as Carita Beach. For accomodation, either in Anyer or in Carita no need to worry about that. There are many accomodation, including Marbella in Carita. But we should be careful if it is a holiday season, as the place sometimes would be very hard to get as the demand for accomodation reservation will increase.
